It’s been a great experience at Carolina and after talking to my family, the coaches and my inner circle of friends, I am ready to take the next step in my career. I want to play at the next level and will put my name in the NBA Draft this year.

The University of North Carolina has 17 former Tar Heels on 2012-13 NBA opening day rosters, equalling the second-highest total among any college basketball program according to RPI Ratings.com. The 17 Tar Heels on active rosters are the most UNC has had to start an NBA season.
Kentucky has 20 players, North Carolina and Duke both have 17, Kansas is fourth with 14, Connecticut and UCLA are tied for fifth with 12, Texas is seventh with 11 and Florida rounds out the schools in double figures with 10.
The Atlantic Coast Conference has 63 players in the NBA, six more than any other conference. The SEC is second with 57, and the Pacific 12 and Big East are tied for third with 53.
